Office Space

I'm the biggest dreamer you will ever meet.

My thoughts are constantly consumed with ideas, spaces and places I'd love to get lost in. Coupled with my recent photography uptake, my thoughts have recently been very much focused on the ideal workplace setting.
Somewhere I can escape to my blogging and photo editing - and all things pretty found on the interweb.
My table would be of solid oak, preferably oregan pine, coupled withe eclectic art pieces and some sort of memory board just above my Mac - and the final touch, some fresh flowers.

I've been scouring Pinterest and the Google for pretty office settings. Here's what I would love my office to look like, someday.
Sincerely, the Dreamer.

I'd wear that // Lace

Recently I've been dealing with a mild lace obsession, more specifically white lace. Every time I see someone wearing it, I start imagining how I can make it my own. I had recent love fest for all things lace on the interweb. Here's what I found.

Creative Maloney

Allow me to introduce the very talented Melissa Maloney, a 20-something graphic designer living in Cape Town.
I knew I wanted to feature her work as soon as I saw it for the first time. Her Owl Fetish is absolutely stunning and speaks to her love of fun, colourful and quirky illustrations.

Melissa draws inspiration from ordinary day-to-day experiences and the people in and around her life. “My illustrations usually happen ‘in the moment’, starting off with a doodle - which then evolves into a fun creation.”

How did The Owl Fetish come about?
I have a peculiar fetish for owls. Their wisdom, mystery and beauty truly inspire me. (I generally see myself as an owl in a human suit)

"To illustrate is like freedom to me. It’s that exact moment where I can let go of reality and enter into my own creative world.” Melissa Maloney

For those of you, who haven’t seen her work before, allow me to spoil you.
