End Year Bliss

As the end of year approaches, and we find ourselves in huddled conversations of holiday destinations and the petrol price, we also get spoiled with end-year functions.
We've been spoiled beyond measure in the last week with 2 great thank you outings hosted by our ad agency and our printing/production company respectively.

The first outing was on yacht Tayla. The plan was to take a leisurely sail from the waterfront harbour to Camps Bay, watch the sunset, and sail back, but plans changed as soon as we entered the open water. The weather caught us off-guard and we weren't able to finish our trip. In stead we opted for a slow ride back into the harbour. Once we docked safely, we stayed on board, and till late.
Some pics of our time on the boat.

The next function was at The Bungalow in Camps Bay with our advertising agency. I haven't been to the new 'la med' before, and really looked forward to lunch there. We had a fantastic afternoon with great food, wine and company, which always makes for a good time. I must say however, that I prefer the drafts, pizzas and park benches much more than fancy cushions and gourmet meals. Sipping on my chilled wine, really is worlds apart from what I remember from my student years, and the Sunday nights we partied like there was no Monday.
